HVAC Technical Consultant (m/f) for Belgium

Job purpose:
- Revenue generating
- Increasing market share
- Strengthening the brand and the local footprint of Oventrop
- Dealing with existing customers and developing new customer relationships
- Providing technical information and support for customers

Job duties:
- Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential customers; soliciting
new customers; building rapport; providing technical explanations and preparing
specifications; in case of need, a direct communication with the corresponding departments
of the headquarters in Olsberg (Germany) is essential
- Consultation of distributors, contractors, builders, and users concerning the effective use of
Oventrop products as well as providing help to solve customer-specific problems with the
objective of selling Oventrop products
- Processing and constant monitoring of projects until the Oventrop products have been
- Hold seminars and technical trainings with the objective of selling Oventrop products as
well as participation in exhibitions
- Assistance with the development of market strategies and competition analysis
- Assistance during the handling of possible claims and coordination with the headquarters in
Olsberg and with the customer
- Intensive travel
- Attending customer visits and sales meetings in Olsberg (Germany)

Key Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in HVAC (or HVAC-related field) or sales person with technical
- Proven sales record and existing network of contacts within the HVAC industry in the area
- New business developing skills and strong goal-oriented skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Independent, highly motivated problem solver
- Sound communication skills in French and Flemish as well as English or German (all
written and spoken)

The Technical Consultant will report directly to our representative in Belgium as well as to
