Cité du Vin

Tourist destination Cité du Vin

Anyone interested in the subject of wine will find the right property in Bordeaux. The Cité du Vin was opened here in 2016. The tourism project combines a wine museum and a theme parc. The location was not chosen without reason. Bordeaux is located in the middle of a wine-growing region that belongs to the international wine marketing association Great Wine Capitals.

Construction began at the beginning of 2014. The object extends over 13,000 m² and includes a 55 m high tower. On eight levels, visitors can get an idea of the culture of wine. The exterior façade is fitted with 650 glass panels as well as 2,500 aluminium panels and is meant to emulate sparkling wine in a glass. In addition to the museum, the Cité du Vin has, among other things, an international wine bar, a tapas bar and a wine cellar. With its charm, the tourist magnet has made it to 7th place in National Geographic's ranking of the world's best museums.

Comfort inside

A modern heating system is used to ensure that visitors feel comfortable inside and that the temperature is always optimal. The system is optimally regulated by Cocon QTZ pressure independent control valves. They ensure that all consumers receive the desired flow of the heating medium. All valves in the Cité du Vin are equipped with electronic actuators. This means that the desired room temperature is maintained at all times. Cocon QTZ valves and the associated actuators also reduce energy costs through efficient energy use.
