High, higher, Sky Tower

It is the highest, it is the only one and it is the most exclusive. The Sky Tower in the heart of Wroclaw is not stingy with superlatives. Built between 2007 and 2012 by Leszek Czarnecki's LC Corp. as a symbiosis of luxury and functionality, Poland's second largest residential building (212 m) combines living, shopping and leisure - literally at the highest level.

Within a minute, visitors can take the lift to the 49th floor observation deck and enjoy an impressive view from Wroclaw's only skyscraper. Many of the neighbouring international companies use the Sky Tower to let their guests stay here in style. Tourists rent the luxury flats at heights up to 200 m for as little as one day. On the lower floors of the complex they will find shops of well-known brands, spa and wellness facilities, excellent restaurants, jogging tracks, a bowling centre with 24 lanes and everything that makes life pleasant.

Thanks to the intelligent integration of various Oventrop systems, you can expect a consistently pleasant living, shopping and working climate throughout the building - and this quasi automatically, by means of hydronic balancing from the basement to the 50th floor.

Perfect hydronic balancing through sophisticated Oventrop systems

Oventrop Multidis SF distributors/collectors for heating circuits control the distribution of heating or cooling water to the different circuits per residential or commercial unit. Their integrated flow measuring and regulating devices ensure reliable compliance with the calculated volume flow. Oventrop HydroControl VTR and Hycocon VTZ double regulating and commissioning valves take over the hydronic balancing of the risers among each other and in the individual circuits; both in the hot water central heating systems and in the cooling systems.

The differential pressure in the individual risers is kept constant by the Oventrop Hydromat DTR differential pressure regulators. The result: Due to the hydronic balancing of all heating and cooling circuit on all floors, all consumers are supplied evenly, regardless of their distance from the central heating or cooling system, even during load changes by switching from setback to heating mode and vice versa.

Individual comfort temperatures are thus guaranteed - with the lowest possible fluctuations, which in turn contributes to energy savings of up to 10% in relation to the setpoint temperature.
