Directly on the banks of the river Spree, only 6 minutes away from the historic centre of Köpenick and 30 minutes away from the heart of Berlin by tram, lies the residential district Uferkrone. It not only convinces with its location and a calming, panoramic view of the river and nature but also with short distances to shops, schools, doctors, cultural and entertainment spots and work.

Family-friendly multiple occupancy dwellings, partially with house-in-house concepts, can be found on the sunny area as well as elegant city mansions with storey apartments and penthouses. All 144 residential units have the following in common: thought-out floor plans, rooms flooded with light, spacious terraces or balconies and a direct access to the elevator which leads down to the underground parking. A high quality of life which invites to arrive and to stay.

Dwelling stations supply the individual units with heat and hot potable water

The technically sophisticated products and systems of the company Oventrop constitute an important part of the sustainability concept. A reliable connection between the heat generator and heating circuits is ensured by 8 “Regumat” stations DN 40 and DN 50. High energy efficiency and a comfortable local hot potable water production and heat distribution are guaranteed by 144 “Regudis W-HTF” dwelling stations.

Economic benefits also led the investor, the BUWOG Group –the leading full-service provider for residential properties in Germany and Austria with 49,200 existing real estate properties – to choose the “Regudis W-HTF” dwelling stations. Compared to wall hanging heating devices and gas flow heaters, the installation of the dwelling stations is time- and cost-saving as only three supply pipes are required for all dwellings. Moreover, the completely pre-assembled and leak and function tested stations can be optically integrated with the home interior with the help of a cabinet or bonnet.

The dwelling stations “Regudis W-HTF” not only offer benefits to the investor but also to the residents: The stations allow for an adjustment of the hot potable water temperature, an individual night/zone setback and the subsequent integration of heat and water meters for an exact consumption and cost control. As the hot potable water for each dwelling is carried out via a heat exchanger according to the continuous flow principle, an energy efficient and quick hot potable water preparation is guaranteed. A reliable availability of hot potable water is guaranteed even at “peak showering times” irrespective of the size of the residential facility and this is why the Oventrop “Regudis W-HTF” dwelling stations are also recommended for hotels and retirement homes, for instance.
