German Brand Award 2017 for the brand Oventrop

Oventrop is honoured as “winner” in the category “Heating & Bathroom“ for successful brand management and sustainable brand communication at the German Brand Award 2017.
The expert committee has selected Oventrop as “winner” of the German Brand Award 2017 in the category “Heating & Bathroom” for their brand concept describing Oventrop’s positioning approach to the specialist partner for the Building Services Industry. The assessment criteria of the jury are, amongst others, brand-typical features, brand perception, differentiation from the competition, user friendliness, ecological quality and durability. The award ceremony took place on the occasion of a media event in Berlin.

For the second time, the German Brand Institute awards prizes for innovative brands, consequent brand management, effective brand communiction as well as leading personalities and companies which are trendsetting in the world of brands. The German Brand Award competition deals with the complexity of brand management. According to the joint study “German Brand Monitor” of the German Design Council and the GMK Markenberatung (brand consultancy), the brand is an important factor in the success of a company for 90 percent of the decision-makers.
