Oventrop UK limited are proud to have supplied 18no ‘Solcos’ solar thermal systems to a Teign Housing development in Layne Fields, Christow, located within Dartmoor National Park. The development of 18 homes will be built to full PassivHaus standards, one of the highest standards of environmental building.

Oventrop UK limited worked tirelessly with the architect, PassivHaus consultants and mechanical contractors, Radiate Plumbing and Heating, in order to develop and deliver high efficiency systems to meet the rigorous PassivHaus standards.

The project had to be right, both aesthetically and technically, and as such, Oventrop supported the PassivHaus consultants to ensure that a class leading (German manufactured) solution was delivered. Each system comprised of 2 or 3 OKF in-roof solar flat collectors, Regusol Pump Stations and Regtronic Control Systems.
