The flushing station “Regudrain Duo” and the three-way diverting and mixing valve “Tri-CTR” received an award as “winner” in the design competition “ICONIC AWARDS 2018: Innovative Interior” from the German Design Council. Amongst others, the products convinced with their design quality and functional efficiency.

Even two Oventrop products received the “Innovative Interior” award: The flushing station “Regudrain Duo” and the three-way diverting and mixing valve “Tri-CTR” were honoured as “winner”. The award is given to products which distinguish themselves by an outstanding performance in the evaluation criteria overall concept, degree of innovation, design quality, product aesthetics and longevity.
Hygiene in potable water systems is reliably supported by regular flushing processes which are triggered by the flushing station “Regudrain Duo”. Individual flushing processes can be programmed with the help of the integrated controller. This way, the increase of legionella is, amongst others, prevented.
In the building technology, volume flows are mixed or diverted, for instance because of temperature changes. The universal three-way valve “Tri-CTR” fulfils this task with only one valve. With the help of the valve, the different sections of the system are co-ordinated to the optimum and efficiency and safety are guaranteed.

The award is conferred by the German Design Council who has set itself the task of supporting product quality achieved by good design in all sectors. Especially products with high quality concepts are honoured in the competition “ICONIC AWARDS: INNOVATIVE INTERIOR”.
