Thermostatic radiator valves

Manual regulating valves

The manual regulating valves for radiators can be used in one and two pipe central heating systems. They enable precise manual regulation of the room temperature. The heat output of the radiator is proportional to the setting of the handwheel. This sensitive regulation is achieved by a specially shaped valve plug. The presetting is infinitely variable. It is concealed and can be adjusted easily, quickly and precisely with a screwdriver. This makes it impossible for unauthorised persons to change the setting. The valve body is identical to other Oventrop thermostatic valves. This enables the possibilty of subsequent conversion to thermostatic operation by replacing the valve inserts. With the special tool Demo-Bloc the conversion can be carried out without draining the heating system.

The HRV manual regulating valves with presetting ensure exact hydronic balancing of the system. They offer good manual regulation and also the possibility of a later, problem-free and inexpensive conversion to thermostatic operation.

Replacement valve inserts

The valve inserts are suitable for replacement in thermostatic valves. The valve inserts can be preset for adaptation to the system requirements and for manual or automatic hydronic balancing. The valve inserts are suitable for all thermostatic valves, so you can benefit from the advantages of the different valve inserts at any time without having to replace the entire valve. We recommend our Demo-Bloc for replacement. With this special tool, the valve insert can be replaced without draining the system. Our thermostats with connection thread M 30 x 1.5, such as the Uni LH, Uni SH and pinox or the Uni L with connection thread M 30 x 1.0, fit the valve inserts.

AZ Pressure-balanced thermostatic valves for high flow rate

AZ valves are designed for hot water heating systems. The EPDM valve disk allows for a wide range of conditions during operation. All Oventrop radiator valves are designed with field replaceable inserts. The entire working portion of the valve can be replaced without decommissioning the system by using the Demo-Bloc tool.
