“Gold” for the brand Oventrop in the “German Brand Award 2018”

The expert committee of the “German Brand Award 2018” honoured the successful brand management of Oventrop with the “Gold” label.
It was the third time that the “German Brand Award” was granted to innovative brands with a sustainable brand communication. This year again, Oventrop prevailed over a large number of companies in the competition. Honoured as “winner” last year, Oventrop was honoured with the “Gold” label this year. This improvement is the result of a consistent pursuit of the brand targets as premium supplier. In the competition class “Industry Excellence in Branding”, the brand was honoured in the category “Heating & Bathroom”. Amongst others, the criteria independence and typical brand features, differentiation from the competitors, degree of innovation and future sustainability were included in the evaluation. The jury states: “Oventrop convinced with an exemplary brand work requiring a carefully elaborated and, above all, stringently implemented strategy (…), so that the company undoubtedly positioned itself in the market as premium supplier and developed to be one of the leading European brands in the sector.”

Only brands selected by the German Brand Institute, brand scouts and expert committees are admitted to the competition. After their selection, the participants have to convince the interdisciplinary jury with their submission to be admitted to the small circle of the best. The “German Brand Award” was brought to life by the German Design Council and the GMK Markenberatung (brand consultation).
